    • I am glad you made it safely to Kalamar, my friend. I can see that you have grown in both strength and numbers since we last met. You bring news that Amrit, a feeble druid, is behind all of the creatures going berserk? I can't believe it, but it makes complete sense. Imperial Scouts say he headed south towards Oakwood a few days ago. I wonder if he had something to do with the Dragons attacking the city—maybe they are all in league. Before we leave, we have another problem to take care of. Vikram the Necromancer has claimed the throne since Princess Serene is missing. He claims that he has only done so to look after the Empire until Princess Serene is found. There's something a little "off" about him, however.

    • Drops
      • XP: 50

    • I took the throne because no one else was strong enough, and there would be chaos without a leader! You definitely could not do it. By all means, please find Princess Serene and bring her back here, and I will gladly support her as Empress. In the meantime, continue to track down Amrit. I know he and his druids were behind the attack on the city. I think he framed us with that Bite chemical and made the Dragons believe we were going to attack them.
  • Vikram The Necromancer Poised next to the throne
    • Requirements
      • Stamina: 7
    • Drops
      • XP: 50
    • Comments: Occurs once, much later in the game. This quest opens the Princess Serene quest and causes Vikram The Necromancer (the monster) to appear.
    • "The throne is mine! Princess Serene is too weak to piece the Empire back together. I specifically planned it this way. One dead Emperor, one drowning Empire in need of a savior. I am the one they will turn to! I am the one who will rule over all of Anthor, and the people will love me for it! Muahahaha!"

    • “I understand that we must go save the princess, but Vikram is incredibly strong. There are a couple places we could go first to stock up on supplies. We could head Northeast to Ward and Ingledye, or we could explore the catacombs of Kalamar that lie underneath the Kalamar Townhouses.”
    • The poor princess. Vikram is such a coward. We must go find her. Luckily, throughout my travels I have learned where Vikram likes to go. He goes into the mountains behind Falhill. Falhill is directly east of Mistyvale. Let's go!
